1950's BATTERY-OP ROTATE-O-MATIC SUPER ASTRONAUT ROBOT HORIKAWA (S.H.) JAPAN

Description

Up for auction is the Rotate-O-Matic Super Astronaut Robot Battery Operated Toy made in the 1950's by Horikawa of Japan.  This is the large, mostly plastic, version.
The toys is not fully functioning.  When you insert D batteries and turn it on ONLY a light comes on in the chest, you can hear the motor and it eventually makes a machine gun like clicking sound.
No other functions work.  One of the chest doors is broken / loose, the outside of the battery compartment has tape residue and probably will pop off if you get the toy to function, their is a gear that fell out of the interior that fell out when I was testing it, tape to the back and it may very well be missing other pieces.
