Beautiful Iridescent Art Glass Centerpiece Bowl Signed Loetz Austria

Description

Beautiful iridescent art glass bowl set in a victorian-style silver-plate basket decorated with flowers.
The bowl is signed Loetz Austria on the underside. I believe this is the Papillon pattern.
The color varies with light. Depending on the light, the glass has wonderful gold, blue and magenta iridescence, or may appear more yellow, light brown or green.
The silver-plate basket is signed Poole silverplate quadruplate Taunton Ma.
The piece is in excellent condition. The glass has a couple of air bubbles and light surface scratches on the bottom of the bowl. Due to the iridescence they are not visible unless looking up closely.
The silverplate basket retains
the original patina.
The glass bowl measures 9" diameter and almost 3" tall.
Altogether, the centerpiece is 9" wide and
11" tall to the top of the handle.
