c1910s EXTRA large tobacco leather BROWN UNIVERSITY FRONT CAMPUS SCENE RARE!

For auction is a really nice, neat item issued in the early 1910's by the american tobacco company to help sell their brands of cigarettes. The leather itself measures approximately 2.5" by 5.75" and features COLLEGE SCENES embossed on a very soft leather. This IS FROM THE LARGEST series of leathers and are MUCH MORE difficult to find than the more common smaller leathers or the larger sized shield leathers that feature the college flag or seal. These larger leathers were issued in larger cigarette packs that were more expensive. The leather looks better in person than what the scanner shows. The coloring looks a little brighter in the scan. I also have other college leathers, felts and silks. These leathers make great gifts for aliminae and current students attending the college. Thay also make really neat collectibles.
