    Early Loetz Austria Art Iridescent Green Glass Bottle Form Handled Vase. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
    This is another piece I’m letting go from my personal collection following years of no selling. Produced by Loetz around 1898-1900. Nice tall handled bottle/flask form vase with a squared handle, and crimped design on base. Done is a beautiful emerald green glass with a iridescent purple/green finish. At the base of the neck directly across from the handle it does have a couple of small losses from a crack which I believe to have been done in the manufacturing process as their is a small crease in the glass leading up to the crack. I notice no effect in the stability of the neck or handle as a result. And is almost unnoticeable when displayed from either side. Just a small imperfection. Small flake off the side of the pontil as well. Measures a whooping 30cm tall and 16cm in diameter. Not a common seen form and definitely a stunner. Definitely not just your run of the mill art glass. It’s museum worthy! If you have any questions feel free to ask and I would be glad to help.
