Description
Fine unusual Pearlware (blued-slip) Blue Willow Drainer, Englandc.1820. Distinctive Pearlware glazing particularly evident to backside, corners and edges (pic 3,4,5).
Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or restorations. Some fine glaze crazing. Brief glaze-deep production flaw line to backside at thumbhole (pic 7), however same corresponding area to front side shows no flaw (pic 8). Glaze is very fine and glossy with virtually no use wear or scratches (pic 11,12)
Drainer measures 10-1/4" wide, 7-1/4" deep, 5/8" edge height.
Weight just over 1 pound.
