Very Hard-To-Find Loetz Oceanik Green Iridescent Art Nouveau Glass Vase – c. 1904.
This Bohemian Glass Vase is unusual in its Body Shape - cylindrical with flared base with the Oceanik Raised Relief “Wave Optic” Pattern which is similar to Wellenoptisch.
It has a colorless (clear) ground with melted blue-green embedded Granules (Russian green Ciselé) which gives it its greenish blue appearance.  Its oil spot finish produces its Iridescence providing hints of fuchsia and gold coloring.
The Vase is in excellent condition with the exception of two very tiny shallow nicks along the top rim – largest being 1/16” – not noticeable unless looking closely. Measures 4 1/2” in height.
