vintage 1950's original Ideal Toy Robert The Robot No. 4049 remote control w box

Description

Up for bids is a vintage 1950's original Robert The Robot toy made by Ideal.  It is No. 4049.  Comes with its original box.  The box measures about 15" by7" by 8 1/2"--it is in great shape.  The toy does not currently work but it appears to be in great shape--has NO cracks or other damage--looks as if rarely used.  Has all parts and they all look good to me.  The base will need to be reattached.  Comes with its original instruction sheet but it is well worn as can be seen in the picture.
