Vintage Jetto Air Powered Robot

Description

Still in the original packaging though the card is looking a little rough and the plastic blister form is separating from the cardboard.  The robot inside remains untouched though the original balloon has long since crumbled to bits and fallen out.  Made in USA by Tri-Play Toys.
The greatest Christmas present ever!  My brother and I had no trouble agreeing on this.  The Thingmaker was a toy that made... toys!  It doesn't get any better than that.  I can still remember sitting at the kitchen table creating my little masterpieces... the smell of the plastigoop... glow in the dark and florescent colours... good times.  Ten years ago I went out an bought a set for nostalgia's sake and spent some time with my kids creating little masterpieces once again - even now as young adults they are still in for an evening of using the Thingmaker.  That was also the start of what is now a massive toy collection that I now need to reduce so this week it is going to be a bunch of Thingmaker sets and individual molds.  Some things to keep in mind, you don't need a Thingmaker oven to cook your creations in, you could use your kitchen oven, maybe even the stovetop (I would try a cast iron frying pan) though personally I use a toaster oven that I got at a garage sale for .  I am not that keen on exposing my cooking surfaces to goop.  Some of the molds I have are not cleaned though this is easy to do by soaking in vinegar and scrubbing with a stiff brush (thank you MJ Thompson).  Goop is readily available and there are a number of websites dedicated to collectors and creators.

A word about shipping
Remember your bid + the shipping is the total price you pay for the item and bid accordingly.
I will ship within 2 business days and will only charge exact shipping cost.  If it is less than quoted when rounded up to the nearest dollar then a refund will be issued.  Shipping from Canada can be expensive this is beyond my control.  I prefer not to be punished in feedback ratings for high shipping costs or slow posties, I will do all that I can to assure your item arrives as quickly and cheaply as possible and you cannot expect more from me than that.  If for some reason you require a faster means of shipping I will be happy to accommodate you but please expect to pay the higher rate.  I do not charge for my time or packing materials but will recycle boxes and clean packing wherever possible.  I will pack your item carefully.  If this is an international purchase you may be expected to pay customs imposed by your country.     Overseas shipping will have to go airmail as the long delivery times of ground transportation are proving problematic, please ask for a quote prior to bidding.  Of course, I will be happy to combine shipping.  You should hold payment or notify me if you are planning on bidding on other items as I am likely to package and ship the first item immediately after it is paid for.
